ColActive® Plus is made from collagen, sodium alginate, carboxylmethylcellulose (CMC), and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). It transforms into a soft gel sheet when in contact with wound exudate. The dressing maintains a moist wound environment that aids in the formation of granulation tissue and epithelialization and can be trimmed and layered for the management of deep wounds.
