While others claim to build performance exhaust for the SRT8, B&B builds the SRT8 system out of 3″ tubing for increased flow and performance. The system also uses B&B’s proprietary Purge Resonance Technology to eliminate in-cabin, low frequency resonation. The result is a truly spectacular muscle car bark at idle and under acceleration, while providing a smooth, understated tone at cruise. We worked hard on the sound, but we did not forget about the performance. Every B&B system undergoes complete testing on our in-house DynoJet chassis dynamometer. The exhaust made a difference of 17 horsepower and 21 foot pounds of torque measured at the rear wheels. The system is finished off with a pair of B&B’s 4″ double walled stainless steel tips and it is completely polished.
