It It has a light-medium hold so it doesn’t leave the hair insanely crunchy, but the protein benefits strengthen curl retention and give long lasting hold by strengthening the curl. It works well on wet hair, or while damp styling which I prefer to do and I find it gives me better hold that way. I find it best used after a leave-in conditioner, but for healthy, not dry, and easily weighed down hair, this will provide enough moisture to be used alone as well. Coat your strands evenly with a praying-hands motion, gliding from roots to ends downward, then scrunch to enhance the curls. Finger coil unruly curls for an extra pop and air dry or diffuse to set the look in place. Because this is a gel, it can leave your hair with a bit of a crunchy feel after drying, but if you simply take 1-2 drops of a hair serum or oil like the Curlsmith Bonding Oil, you can easily scrunch out the crunch and be left with your gorgeous, defined and shiny results �� Who is this best for?
